Santovka – The Legend of Mineral Waters

The company LI+, sro was founded in December 2012 and with great pride continues the 180-year tradition of the most famous mineral water in Slovakia - Santovka .

Santovka mineral water has a unique story behind it, which began to be written more than 500 years ago. The springs in the village of Santovka are among the oldest and most famous in Slovakia. Their exceptional properties were known already in the times of Hungary, when the first scientists and travel writers mentioned them. Santovka, as one of the three mineral waters in Slovakia, contains a rare element - lithium, the content of which is in optimal quantities.

Interest in Santovka water grew along with the development of natural sciences – especially physics, chemistry and medicine. As early as 1549, the first edition of Juraj Wernher’s work “On the Miraculous Waters of Hungary” was published, where Santovka appeared alongside the most important European springs. The importance of the mineral water was further underlined by Matej Bel in his work from 1742, in which he describes in detail the effects of Santovka water.

Our legendary water has won 28 medals at international exhibitions.

Today, we continue this tradition – we bottle pure natural mineral water directly from the B-6 source and bring it to people who are looking for a natural path to balance, health, and vitality.
